Every summer Huey’s employees participate in a summer fundraiser to a different local organization and each store competes with other stores to gather the most donation items. This year is no different. Huey’s employees voted to partner with the Memphis Veteran Affair Medical Center through the months of August and September and it was a complete success! We are excited to announce that Huey’s will be hosting the Thomas Boggs Memorial 23rd Bi-Annual Earthquake Open on Friday, November 4th. Thomas liked having the golf tournament in the later months of the year, hoping it would be cold and rainy. We hope this year will be no different! We had another great year serving up drinks at the main bar at Zoo Rendezvous! The theme for the event this year was “An Evening in Africa” so we went with a safari theme for our bar decorations. Thanks to everyone who joined us for the Memphis Zoo’s biggest fundraiser of the year!

Huey’s Downtown is about to get another facelift. The Huey’s location at 77 S Second St. will close its doors to the public for seven total days, August 8-14, 2016, to pursue needed renovations. With the help of Traditional Construction, the Downtown location will see upgrades in several areas of the restaurant. The kitchen will receive new floors, a new walk-in freezer, and a new sink. At the bar, one ice bin will be rearranged to allow for more bar seating. Plus, two flat screen televisions will be added behind the bar.
