This weekend is a big weekend for us! We are very excited to be participating in both Rock for Love and Zoo Rendezvous.

Rock for Love is the Church Health Center’s biggest annual fundraiser and is celebrating its 6 year this weekend. This is definitely going to be their biggest and best one yet! Rock for Love starts off its 4 day music festival tonight at The Hi Tone. With music at Hi Tone, Overton Square, and Levitt Shell, it’s going to be one fun, busy celebration.

Our participation starts tomorrow. We will have a fun kid’s area set up at 2113 Madison for their street festival tomorrow during the day at Overton Square. Come join us for the ultimate Huey’s experience for kids without stepping foot into our restaurant. For a $2 donation to the Church Health Center, kids (and adults too) are invited to shoot frill picks into a target and win a guaranteed prize, sign our Huey’s wall, get their face painted, and draw with chalk. It’s going to be a blast!

On Sunday evening, we will have a food booth set up at Levitt Shell selling healthy dinner meals. Come try our chicken kabobs and veggie kabobs while jamming to the tunes of Al Kapone and Booker T.!

Then there is Zoo Rendezvous, arguably the biggest party in Memphis every year. It’s the zoo’s biggest fundraiser, and people start looking forward to in January. Over 80 restaurants and bars will set up booths around the zoo, giving away food and drink. Live music will echo from 4 stages. This party is so much fun, that we can’t help but go all out every year. We will be the main bar by the main stage in the entrance area to zoo, by the Cat House Cafe. Come see what decorations we have in store, as we seek to maintain our title as “Best Bar Decor”.

We hope you will join us in a weekend full of fun. We are excited about all the happenings in Memphis, and know it will be a weekend to remember!
