Courtney Coulter has been with Huey’s Collierville for 10 Years now. She is spunky, kind and known for loving to have a good time. We’re thrilled to introduce her and thank her for the great work for 10 years running!
What’s your favorite part of working at Huey’s?
I have loved making friends, and everyone there is like family. I went to esthetician school, so I just went part time at Huey’s, and it’s so hard not being there full time.
What’s your favorite part of working in the restaurant industry?
The customer service. I love meeting new people, bartending, getting to make new drinks and being involved at Huey’s volunteer events. They are really involved in the community, and I like that. And the owners include all of their employees on receiving feedback. They’re always asking, “Hey, what can we do to make it better?” They really want their employees to like what they’re doing.
What’s your favorite memory from Huey’s?
My favorite memory is when one of my coworkers dressed up as our manager for Halloween. The manager has a Saints tattoo on his calf, and I redrew it on this guy’s calf. It was phenomenal. I just love Huey’s!
What is a fun fact about you?
I’m an esthetician at Sneed Medispa. I have a boyfriend going on three years, and I just like to have fun with whatever I do. Everybody there knows me. I like campfires and bonfires.
How has Huey’s helped prepare you for your new job?
It has taught me how to give great customer service. My new boss told me I am great with customers and just know what to say.
I feel like everybody in their life should have to work in the restaurant industry. It helps build character and patience. It has helped me so much with communication skills and taught me how to handle situations and keep your cool about stuff.
