Every Holiday season Huey’s employees come together to help those in need. We donate thousands of dollars in gifts or gift cards to families and kids, collect warm clothing items for a coat drive and feed those in need on Christmas Day.
Each stores spend hours collecting money from their co-workers, shopping and then wrapping all of the gifts to families and kids how need some holiday cheer. This year we had three different non-profit organizations and raised over $4,700!
- The “Memphis” stores and Corporate Office collected almost $4,000 in clothes, toys and other gifts to families from The Kindred Place!
- Huey’s Southaven raised over $150 for the Palmer Home for some gift cards for the kids!
- Huey’s Millington donated over $550 for toys to children in foster care in a program called Christmas Angels. They were also able to purchase a family’s lay-a-way items!

For the fifth year in a row, Huey’s Downtown has been open from 10am-2pm to feed Downtown Memphis’ people in need. Many of them are homeless and do not have a place to go, and we can offer them somewhere to get a warm meal and conversation. A couple of weeks prior, each Huey’s location had a clothes drive and collected warm items to hand out them as they walked out.
The volunteers fed them turkey and dressing, casseroles, sides, pumpkin pie and tea and sodas.
