The well-anticipated Huey’s 9th location in Millington will finally open its doors to the public on Monday, May 8th, 2017 at 11:00am. The property is located at 8570 Highway 51 North in the Shops of Millington Farms; a 125,000-square-foot retail center being developed by Gil Ryan just north of Lowe’s.
The general contractor, Traditional Construction Co. Inc, started this project in mid- December. The restaurant measures in at a little more than 4,100 square feet and includes a 900-square-foot patio. The total seating capacity will be approximately 200.
“We have had our eyes on Millington for years” explains Steve Voss, the Area Manager of the new Millington location. “It really fits our concept of food, family, fun and friends. We are incredibly excited for the opportunity and looking forward to being a big part of this community. What a great town!”
The new Millington staff has been training in the other eight locations preparing for the Grand Opening on May 8th. There are about 70 employees already on board and applications are always being accepted.
“We always thought Millington was a logical choice for Huey’s to expand”, expressed Hollis Ranson, the General Manager of Huey’s Millington. “It’s a great area and has a lot of fantastic people and we are very excited to be here.”
The Ribbon-Cutting with the Millington Chamber will be at 9:30am on Monday, May 8th, 2017.
