Stephanie is a native Memphian and the proud mother of three beautiful girls – Jasmine (16), Maya (16) and Lula (7). Her Huey’s tenure began 15 years ago on a whirlwind of a day. Literally! Her first day coincided with tornado sirens and constant storms during the biennial Earthquake Open golf tournament that Thomas Boggs founded. Joining the team was a big change for Stephanie after coming from the corporate world, but she’s loved every minute of being in the family atmosphere at Huey’s and has never looked back.
Though she hadn’t worked in the restaurant industry before, Stephanie was eager to learn about the business alongside such a fun group of colleagues. Stephanie began as the assistant to longtime owner Thomas Boggs. Thinking back on those initial years, she recalls Boggs as a person who would never give up on others, who was passionate about giving back to the community and who would give you the shirt off his back.
When Thomas passed, his daughter Ashley came to the corporate office and Stephanie has assisted her ever since. Stephanie jokes “it wasn’t a difficult transition because Thomas and Ashley are practically the same person! Both goofy, down-to-earth, hardworking people who love what they do.”
In her spare time, you can find Stephanie taking care of her kids, traveling to and from their sports tournaments and watching University of Tennessee football. She listens to all kinds of music, but her favorite genre is by far the Blues.
Congrats on 15 years, Stephanie! We are so grateful for all you do!
