We had a wonderful time participating in Walking As One this past Saturday.

Walking As One is an interactive, family-friendly 1.5 mile walk to raise money for the Church Health Center. Walking As One, along with the walk, featured interactive booths for each dimension of their Model for Healthy Living. Each participant who completed one activity per station received an event shirt.

Our Huey’s booth was located in the Friends and Family station, where we hosted our Huey’s Kid’s Zone. We had a graffiti wall to color, frill pick shooting game with prizes, chalk, and bubbles.

We had a fun-filled morning, complete with wonderful guests and perfect weather. Thanks to everyone who made it great!

The Church Health Center was founded in 1987 to provide quality, affordable healthcare for the working uninsured and their families. Founded by Dr. Scott Morris, a family practice physician and ordained United Methodist minister, it has grown to be the largest faith-based healthcare organization of its type in the country, serving 67,000 patients of record.
