Huey’s Cordova will close its doors to the public for 12 to 14 days total days, beginning Sunday at 4pm October 14th, 2018, to pursue needed upgrades. We will reopen Saturday, October 26th at 11am. With the help of Traditional Construction, the Cordova location will see major improvements in a couple of areas of the restaurant: the bathrooms will be fully renovated and remodeled to look brand new and attractive. Beginning the second week of September and running through the cool, breezy fall; join us for happy hour specials and free live acoustic music every Tuesday and Wednesday evening! For a limited time, all Huey’s locations will have a Caesar Salad available! Every year for our spring special menu, we bring back our homemade chicken salad. You can order it as a sandwich or a plate with cheese and crackers. This year we have decided to roll out a new option for our guests to try. The Caesar Salad is a mixture of romaine and iceberg lettuce, Texas toast croutons, and Parmesan cheese tossed in our Caesar dressing. That is why we are partnering up with Literacy Mid-South and Memphis Athletic Ministries to help end illiteracy. Last week was very heart melting as we dropped off donations for four different non-profit organizations for our annual holiday giving. This year we had four different non-profit organizations that we donated to: The “Memphis” Stores collected over $2,000 in tricycles and other playground toys, books, puzzles and many learning tools for the New Hope Christian Academy Pre-K through 1st Grade students! Huey’s Southaven raised over $350 in household items needed for the Palmer Home along with some gift cards and toys for the kids! Each year, Huey’s participates in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K Walk, benefiting American Cancer Society. Every year we have a team called the Huey’s Hotfooters to raise money and try to reach our goal of $2000. The team of 18 all met at Tiger Lane this year on October 22, 2017 even in the rain! Tater Tots are now on the menu! Starting October 18th, all nine Huey’s locations will begin offering a new menu item- Tater Tots! Earlier this month, the Germantown and Poplar locations rolled out the tater tots for testing and the feedback has been fantastic!
